| The Twin Oaks Team wants
to help you find your next job with a company that’s right
for you.
We have over 30 years of printing experience combined with 16
years of recruiting, hiring, and training hundreds of people in
all aspects of Printing and Graphic Arts. This provides us with
the insight to “Scout” for talented people who make
their professions in Printing and Graphic Arts. Our help to you
is always free. Though we see ourselves as working for our clients,
it is our “talent scout” work that we enjoy the most.
The Twin Oaks Team is always seeking to find just the right people
for our clients. As talent scouts, we want to get to know you,
your career, and your goals. The better we know you, the better
we can provide our service. If we do not currently have a position
available that is the right match for you, we will be glad to
keep your resume on file and call you when we do something of
interest.
Your resume is welcomed and we look forward to talking with you.
Getting to know your work history is very important so we can
do our best for you. We will be glad to hear from you at any time.
You can reach us by phone, fax, mail or e-mail. It works best
to send us your resume first. You will always get a response from
a friendly, knowledgeable and helpful talent “Scout”.
If you have worked with recruiters before, we think you will enjoy
the difference.
Please feel free to tell us about issues important to you which
may not show up on your resume. We want to be sure we know just
what kind of new job you are looking for. If you are willing to
relocate we need to know where you would consider living and how
long it would be before you would be ready to start a new job.
Many times employers will cover most of the cost of relocating.
However, let us know if you are willing to move on your own. We
are also concerned as to how a move will affect your family.
Your recent earnings history is a must to help find a match that
will be comfortable for everyone. Please be specific, and if applicable
include shift differential information and/or bonuses. Be sure
to let us know what you are expecting to earn at your next job.
We would like a copy of any written references you may have.
In today’s shifting printing environment, we strongly recommend
obtaining written references whenever possible. Employers, as
well as The Twin Oaks Team, frequently want to speak with at least
one or two references. Some employers will require background
checks. Of course, we assume the employer would notify you if
this were necessary. Having good references can make all the difference.
Who are our clients?
The Twin Oaks Team specializes in the areas of Printing and Graphic
Arts, but occasionally other career opportunities arise. Today
most of our clients have offset sheetfed and/or heat-set web offset
presses producing commercial printing or folding cartons. Some
have narrow web flexographic equipment as well. We have made successful
placements for General Managers, Plant Managers, Sales Managers,
Sales Representatives, Operations Managers, Technical Service
Managers, Customer Service, Estimators, Prepress Managers, Mac
Operators, Press Operators, Press Managers, Bindery Managers,
Bindery Machine Operators, Folding Carton Machine Operators, and
Maintenance Technician positions.
What happens next depends on our clients’
needs and more importantly, your interest.
Before we pass your information on to any prospective employer
we will tell you exactly whom we plan to introduce you to. We
usually invite our clients to call you directly at home if they
are interested in speaking with you. Occasionally we will be more
involved in setting up a personal or phone interview. We want
you to keep us up-to-date on any job search progress that you
make so we can offer ideas that will facilitate your career move.
We are happy to hear from you anytime.
Time frames vary from company to company and position to position.
Often employers will have choices and take their time looking
for the best candidate for the opening. Sometimes the first or
second candidates are hired, but only after weeks or even months
of considering other applicants. On the other hand, circumstances
can occasionally create opportunities for those who can change
jobs quickly.
Once we have your information we may also share it with other
recruiting professionals who might have an opening that would
interest you If we see that possibility we will have them call
you. They will in turn keep us informed of your progress. If you
do get a new job for any reason, please let us know so we can
update your information, and send you a congratulations gift.
Our office hours are designed to make it easier for you to call
us from home. We are available Monday through Friday from 10:30
a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time. At any other time, including
weekends, you may leave a message and we will call you back as
soon as possible. Be sure to always leave the area code with your
phone number.
At The Twin Oaks Team, we believe honesty
and even frankness are our best tools for assisting candidates
whose objectives are to reach their full potential.
We invite you to mail, e-mail, or fax your resume and additional
information to us, or call us so we can discuss your career and
job search. We can offer tips on improving your resume and if
we can’t be of help to you, we are happy to try to refer
you to someone who can. We guarantee that when you talk with The
Twin Oaks Team, you will be talking with a long time printer who
understands and cares about you.
Please send your resume as a MS Word or PDF attachment to an
e-mail and take time to fill out a candidate’s data sheet
which will provide the information we need in addition to what
may be on your resume. It can also be used as a starting point
if you do not yet have a resume. For qualified candidates, we
can mail you a form that will substitute for a resume if necessary.
The Twin Oaks Team looks forward to hearing from you soon.
NON-DISCRIMINATION. We do not discriminate in the acceptance
or referral of candidates based on race, color, gender, sexual
orientation, religion, national origin, marital status or age.
